CISPRI will be joining us again on the 28th for our second training of the year.  On the 28th we will be doing KB-16-03 Taffy Spit. We will be practicing diverting oil that would enter Seldovia Bay to Taffy Spit for recovery. We will be using a seal-shore boom and diverting the oil to the designated shoreside recovery site. Resources to protect: Internal salmon/herring, seabird feeding, marsh, seabird nesting, high density kelp patches, sea otters, high use recreation.
